Zanaiel, the Slicing Whisper

Zanaiel is a trained asssasin that controls the air pressure, vacuuming his opponents into his powerful grabs and moving through the battlefield with his unique fSpecial "The Hunt"



Aside from this:
-Zanaiel's uSpecial is a raising attack with a grab sweetspot.
-Zanaiel's DashAttack can be canceled into UpSpecial.


No much is know about Zanaiel. It is known that they joined the Whispers, a secret organization within the Air Nation that killed prime targets during wars. There they learned to control the pressure of the air around him, and how to use such power in combat, creating improvised slicing weaponry or creating a void around him to create an aura of silence before eliminating their target. His unique ability to shape the air into lethal blades achieved him the name of "The Slicing Whisper". Years passed and he learned to use his physical strength and a reduced friction with the air to perform devastating grabs against his enemies, creating a fighting style unique to him, which uses the speed and lethality of the airbending with the strength and control of a wrestler-based fighter.

Time has passed since then. When the shadowy warriors appeared, one of the Whispers died to what seemed to be the weapon of the Master Whisper, the head of the organization and the master of each one of its member. Feeling betrayed, Zanaiel marked his own leader for death and hunted him without rest. No words were spoken during the ferocious combat, Zanaiel claimed his vengeance and went back to their secret base.

One night later, another one of the Whispers died to the same weapon. This time, prepared for anything, Zanaiel intercepted the assassin before they could escape. After the fight, Zanaiel discovered the truth, a shadow imposter killed both Whispers. The death of his master could not be undone. Filled with anger and sorrow, Zanaiel exiled himself from the Whispers and vowed to protect Aether from any and all strange forces that threatens it.

His hunt started that night, a hunt for redemption and self-forgiveness. Even to this day Zanaiel roams every nation, taking down every shadowy warrior they meet and prepared for any possible creature that threatens Aether and its people.
