No Imperial Steel

Description
If it's ever bothered or at least confused you that Bethesda included duplicates of the Imperial Gauntlets and Boots as optional parts of the Steel armor set, you're not alone. It always really got under my skin whenever I'd see an NPC with mixed and matched Steel and Imperial armor - they'd have a Steel Cuirass but "Steel Imperial" Gauntlets and "Steel Shin" Boots. I'd be like, "Uh, just so you know you kinda bought the wrong boots to go with that armor, Jack."

WELL, NO MORE!

This mod completely removes the "Steel Shin Boots" and "Steel Imperial Gauntlets" from the game, and renames "Steel Cuffed Boots" to just "Steel Boots", and "Steel Nordic Gauntlets" to just "Steel Gauntlets." No more mixing and matching- there's Steel Armor, and there's Imperial Armor, and never the twain shall meet.

All characters who are supposed to be wearing Steel Armor will now only have the Steel Boots and Gauntlets that actually go with the cuirass. Don't worry about any characters appearing barefoot or gloveless because the option for the Imperial variants of the boots and gauntlets are missing- NPCs who wear Steel Armor pull from a sublist that randomizes the variants they end up with, and with only one option to choose from now, that's what they'll get every time.

The two different variants of the Steel Helmet are still present (one with horns and one without), as are the two variants of the cuirass (one with pauldrons and one without). This mod does NOT remove those or change anything else about the Steel Armor set. It also does NOT remove the regular Imperial Gauntlets and Boots from the game, so you can still have a full set of Imperial Heavy Armor and all characters who are supposed to be wearing it will not be missing their gauntlets and boots.

Imperial Steel is just Imperial themed steel armor. The Stormcloaks have their own "Nordic Steel" too. It's the same thing.

The imperial gloves and boots would still look good if they had the same texture and color as the armor.

As a lvl 252 argonian, I do not care for pitiful steel armor...But it's still nice to see the bandits I kill that are in said armor to look like they dressed properly.

I'm not gonna say which side I joined but I'm glad this was made becasue it was getting to me that they didn't have a matching set the loooked nice. I mean the regular steel boots and gloves have the same color and concept of the armor but the imperial stuff was too metallic for it to look good with the armor. :health:

Installed the mod but imperial steel still appears.
