To destroy a spore zone, you have to find a crack in the floor of the building and right click on it, then you should have an option to destroy the spore zone. This won't destroy the building it's in

If a player is inside the spore zone, does the hive mind attract zombies to the player's position?
Mods like this idk, I already have Hazardous Zones Overhaul and Susceptible Overhaul haha but more modding projects from me yes of course

The original mod spawns spore zones in some buildings depending on the chance you attribute for spawn chance in the sandbox options. If you go in those spore zones without proper protection you will get sick and infected depending on the infection time you set in the sandbox options
My mod, this overhaul mod, improves the features of the original mod with stronger check for gasmasks and hazmats based on Susceptible's item list.
What it also adds is a durability system to gasmasks and hazmats in the form of recharges you have to put in your protection (filters and oxygen tanks) by utilizing Susceptible once again
One of the required mods is Susceptible Overhaul and it will also improve interactions the player has with gasmasks, hazmats, bandanas and any form of masks. Like breathing through a mask can exhaust you faster for example and trying to eat or drink will make your character remove its mask first
