When I start creating a new skin I always try to do something a bit different from what a created last.
With this series I was keen to create something more subtle focusing on a design asthetic that would work in a desert like environment (i.e. Dust) In the end I decided to try to take the military desert style Apache helicopter and combine it with Navajo style face/body paint, to try and create something hopefully interesting/intriguing but also more in-keeping with the existing CS artistic style.

Another thing I was keen to maintain with this style is only to create skins for weapons that have a "rugged" look, I felt that the Scar-20 was a great example of this (also the M4A4, AWP)

I really hope you like this new direction, I completely understand its not going to be as appealing as some of the more vibrant designs but I hope that it might appeal to people looking for something a bit more subtle.
