Description
Ziinkh, the blackmailed thief, takes the stage!

Ziinkh focuses on timing punishes and delayed movement. He is being submitted as an entry to the Rivals 2 Character Contest, so ALL feedback is highly appreciated!

Moveset basics: Certain moves initiate a burst of movement after waiting five seconds. His Neutral Special capitalizes on his movement and hinders the movement of opponents. His Up Special creates a dangerous orbiting projectile. His Down Special acts as a counter and rounds out his defense. Finally, his Forward Special acts as a good approach option and combo tool. Riptide:
Riptide is a delayed burst of movement, shown in a rhythm-game-esque fashion on the HUD. You can start it with Down Tilt, Fair, Bair, Dair, or aerial Forward Special. After 5 seconds, you will move in the indicated direction.


Side Special (Rolling Tide):
On the ground, charges up and rolls forwards. Can be jumped out of, or cancelled by pressing shield.

In the air, acts as a simple hitbox that can finish off stocks. Landing while performing this attack will roll you forwards, which synergizes well with hitfalling and ledge cancelling.


Neutral Special (Historink Surf):
Using this move charges up Historink, which is a replay of your past movements. While charging, you fall slower and have more air mobility.

When it spawns, Ziinhk will briefly turn invisible (similarly to his strongs).

Opponents move significantly slower in Historink, which has a variety of applications from combos to kill confirms.


Up Special (Octorpedo Zip):
This causes a burst of movement rushing upwards (if used in the air, you dip down a bit first). You are fully actionable while moving, and do not enter pratfall.

Up Special also creates Ziinkh's Octorpedo projectile, which gradually accelerates towards him. If it hits any player, including Ziinkh, they enter pratfall.


Down Special (Wail of LeDepths):
This move acts similarly to a counter; if hit, you will instead immediately Riptide in the direction of knockback (which means you usually travel a significantly shorter distance) and leave the opponent open to counterattacks.

This move also causes Historink to have a hitbox, and can counter your own Octorpedo.
