[SDX] Nascent Class Medium Hauler [UDS]

Designed for Sigma Draconis Expanse [SDX]

The Nascent is a medium-sized UN combat hauler with [UDS] modularity. The forward and aft sections separate into two pilotable ships. The aft Drive section includes the bridge and life support capsule, main reactors, coilguns, torpedoes, primary fuel tanks and drives as well as some cargo storage. The forward Barge section primarily contains cargo, but includes sufficient thrust and attitude control to act as a stand-alone skiff. The barge also features a forward mounted small ship printer optimised for on-site construction and repair of small skiffs. Both sections are compatible with other [UDS] modules and can be mixed and matched as required.

You might also like the Pincoya Nascent, a variant which includes two much larger cargo modules and an integrated 10-refinery module.

The Nascent features two projectors. The main projector is a perfect match with the BP and requires no alignment. The secondary projector is optimised for the Pawn MKIII BP below and also requires no alignment. I've also included BPs below for other skiffs with the same, no-alignment projection setup, however note that most are too long and will require some upgrades to fully weld in the construction bay. Welders can also serve to repair skiffs as they are docked.
