DESCRIPTION

The Ostauto 'Battlebus', given its nickname by those it transported, is a military adaptation of the Civilian Grade A-Type Omnibus. At the outbreak of World War I, the then Dominion of Newquay Armed Forces realised they lacked the ability to transport the vast numbers of personnel required to fight the war anywhere, be that from recruitment centres to training facilities, Barracks to Ports, or Beachheads to Front line Trenches.

A dedicated solution was still at least a year away, however, the requisition and adaptation of civilian busses would take only a day of conversion per bus and with 26 seats plus some standing capacity, the bus was well suited to moving entire platoons with one vehicle, and an entire company with only five busses. At the end of the War, the majority of 'Battlebusses' were converted back to civilian use.

Most famously used by the 8th Omnibus Infantry Company, there lead vehicle named "Hope & Glory" is seen preserved, retrofitted back to how it appeared in 1918, although still with its civilian bells still present from when it returned to civilian service.

HOW TO USE:

STARTING ENGINE:
- BATTERY BREAKER On
- Ensure that both FUEL VALVES on either side are open.
- Go to the front of the bus and Crank the engine.

GETTING IN GEAR:
- The Bus starts in PARK as indicated on the Gear Display (0), this gear automatically applies the Handbrake.
- To Enter Drive Gears press UP on your Arrow Keys whilst in Park, or whatever you have bound Axis 4 to, the Gear Display will change to 1.
- To Enter Reverse Gear press DOWN on your Arrow Keys whilst in Park, the Gear Display will change to -1.

DRIVING:
- Use W to Accelerate and S to Brake.
- Use A/D to Steer
- [1], [2], and [3] control the Turn/Hazard Indicators, remember to cancel them when you don't need them again.
