Description
patch-mod/drop-in replacement for Bubbet's Lead Indicator mod to remove dependency on outdated UIElements mod.

it wasn't really using UIElements very much, so i'm a little surprised it's taken this long for a fix.

Hmmm, perhaps they've been showing up and my poor eyesight is just obscuring them due to their small size. I'll try and keep an eye out for them under the conditions they should appear, as you kindly explained to me. Thank you.

no 'targetting' corrections here, we're not that fancy. merely adds little lead pips for you to aim your guns at so you'll be able to land shots. they only show up if the weapon is in range *and* if your differential velocity to your target is high enough for the reticle to show up outside the model of the ship

What exactly does this mod (or the original) accomplish? Playing with this on versus vanilla I can tell no difference, personally. I think I was expecting something like MW5's predictive targeting but the implementation is more subtle in this case. Would you mind pointing out what I'm supposed to be looking for here? Thanks.

it does not. it requires no other dependencies, but it would be only fair of me to recommend subscribing to the original mod by Bubbet since most of the code is theirs, bar my documentation of it all.

So this doesn't require the original Lead Indicator mod, correct? We can use this by itself?
