Description
What is this

Some of you may know the Challenge Missions of the TLE/TLP DLC. They are very similar but a little different than the missions you play in the campaign. Now i tried out if i can make them work in a campaign. And most of them work, kinda. So i went forth and adapted some things. Like that the pods scale with force level.

Requirements
I did test and build it with and for Covert Infiltrations and Scanning Sites Plus 2 and there are allready configs in place for those mods as well as Leviathan Extended Squad Size to adapt Squad Sizes for these missions, but i expect that some things would work without those too as i did make them as an alternative to some normal missions too. Encounter List Cleaner is used so your game doesn't crash if you are not running Mods like Abductors or HIVE. TLE DLC of course is required.

Problems?
Yes a few. The Destroy Device didn't let me destroy it until i used a grenade on it first. Sometimes the Neutralize all aliens did not complete, so i recommend using Pyrrhic Victories. Difficulty is still a guess by me. I made custom squadsizes (4-6) for various missions. In my tests sometimes i did not get the extra reward soldiers from gather quests. Names of the person to rescue may not be the one the mission says. Some of those problems may be because i used the console for some stuff. If you somehow can't complete a mission, and can't evac you can try the console command: EnableGlobalAbility PlaceEvacZone

So now what?
I hope you enjoy more diversity with these missions, though of course they can get a bit boring too if you get them too often. But all of this mod is config, so changing things should not be an issue. Thanks to encounter Buckets there is still a good chance of some variety. Like many missions can have somewhere between 6 and 12 enemies. Sectoid Abductors and HIVE I definetly recommend for some added immersion. If you are using Leviathan Extended Squad Size, you get the benefit of adapted squadsizes for these missions

Be warned it is only lightly tested

find the missions and change the + into a -. it nontheless seems to be a mod conflict though as i have heard from several other people that they play it without issue. i have a suspicion it has something to do with dead units coming back to life. but yeah nothing i can do

How I disable the waterfront map?

I can say certainly it's not any other form of mods causing the chryssalid to endlessly spawn since in my own playthrough there's no mod that affects chryssalids.

@RoughLobster - Follow up to your previous question: are you per chance using the mod " Hive All Gone Feral " mod when you encountered this issue?

Unfortunately I have moved on in my campaign and don't have a save from that mission. I have put a ";" in front of the mission in the XComMissionDefs.ini hopefully I won't get it again. If I do I will try your solution and report back.

@roughlobster - does the console command killclosestunittocursor work when the entered while the cursor is on the unit?

If that doesn't work, RustyDios would likely have more answers has to what's going on with that missions logic.

yeah this specific map is giving problems and pyrrhic victories is not doing anything here. Glad you like the notmod nontheless

Excellent "notmod". Using 8-man squad by Rather Incoherent so this really changes things up.
I have found a bug on the waterfront map, neutralize all targets.
A Chryssalid keeps spawning endlessly so I can't complete the mission. I had to use the console command to evac out but failed the mission, using KillAllAIs didn't work.I am using Pyrrhic Victories. This has happen twice on the same map. I have not had any other bugs so far (+50 missions).
I use a few of your NotMods and they are great fun. Thanks.
