Description
Advanced Material. WITHOUT THE BUGS!
Everyone's wanted to make builds that could pass as part of the map.
But the vanilla material tool just isn't... Enough...

So for the longest time, we used the fantastic Material Editor tool, despite it's limitations.
And it's other successors;
Advanced material 2, Advanced material 3000

Yet,
none of these worked under pressure.
Props lost their materials for seemingly no reason, removing advanced materials was not possible, and when the tool was used on too many props at once, crashes were the norm.


These issues? No more.

You can copy the material of ANYTHING.


Then scale, resize and rotate it!


Hundreds upon hundreds of props? No problem.


Only a question remains....

Idk, i tried all checkboxes, and neither of them removed the detail type, and just kept putting that additional material over mine

How to remove the detail type thingy? it ruins the textures i use

Love this addon and I have a suggestion. For models that have more than one material node, can you add the option to let us choose which material nodes are affected?

is there a fix for the issue where the materials have missing textures when doing cubemaps?

UPDATE!
Foot.

Step sounds now match the advanced material of props.

By default, the step sound system checks the actual texture for a sound, then checks the noise texture for a sound.
Can also manually override stepsounds.

Can be enabled/disabled by serverside & client convars.

+ Rework bumpmap system, so it actually works
