Important: None of these ships can actually be flown, they are just compatible with LVS vehicles for targeting and other properties

After 3 or so years of no updates, I have finally decided to port my old LFS capital ship addon to LVS. The change to the base is substantial, so the AI functions much differently now (hopefully much more smoothly) as well as numerous other changes in general to the addon.

--- What do these ships do? ---

These ships essentially act as the original LVS AI vehicle spammer, but in a more immersive way, with "turbolasers" to defend itself from enemy ships. You use the context menu to edit what ships should spawn, how many, how frequently, and so on, to allow for quick and easy editing after spawning. As with the original LFS, it is recommended to use an in-house context menu restrictor to avoid minge activity and such.

This pack as of release contains 4 capital ships from the Republic/CIS faction era

- Acclamator
- Venator
- Munificent
- Providence

All of these ships can be found in Entities > Aura's LVS Big Ships

--- Notes for owners/devs ---

If you are a server owner, I recommend you extract this addon and take only the config file to edit, as that is where you will change ship spawning settings, you can also extract the shared files for each entity if you know what you're doing to edit individual ship properties (advanced users only).

This pack also contains a base for ALL the new LVS capital ships, which can be adapted using the shared.lua file if you want to add more ships, as well as making sure to edit the config file to include what ships can be spawned. I only advise highly experienced developers to attempt this, as it is still a bit janky, and takes some skill to inference and get right.

Another thing to note, is that default ships in the config are required that servers *should* but may not have, such as the hyena bomber, the CIS gunship, and so on, just try to be sure you have all the required LVS Star Wars vehicles, but I won't add them as required since you can change the ships spawned.

This item does require the LVS base to function, as this is actually an LVS vehicle, just without the ability to be flown. As an upgrade from the LFS version, I have removed the need for the other addons for models/materials, as well as GBombs (since apparently that is dead??? RIP), now using my own explosion based on one from the LVS presets.

Credit for models and textures go to MegaRex and Syphadias as they have some great capital ship models. See below for links to the addons I originally sourced the models from. MegaRex also is the source of the turret base/gun model.
I also want to thank the SWRP dev discord for providing help and support, and still roasting my old addons after all this time, thank you!

Hold 'c' to enter the context menu, right click the ship and select what you want to spawn, how many to spawn, and the delay between spawns, then check the box to begin spawning

Hey! I noticed you commented on my old LFS Capital ships mod which was a modification of your old base. Just wanted to let you know that I took an indefinite hiatus from garrysmod so feel free to convert it if you’d like or even integrate it into this mod.

When the ship is exploding it starts to tilt a little to one side, indicating it is being shot down, then promptly despawns after the explosions, this is for performance, as well as immersion, as if it fell to the ground it would crush a lot of things over it, and cause more issues with cleanup.
