Brings the original Rogue Trader themes to Gladius by adding in some quests to spice up the game with a little bit of raiding and fort building. Some of the quests allow players to build tier 6 special units at their infantry structure. The Sisters of Battle, Necrons, and Tyranids get low special upkeep tier 6 units rather than the xeno units.

Quests:

Arkifane -> Chaos raiders with the current Dark Omissiah named character. (Rewards Defiler unit)
Be'lokar -> Chaos raiders with a character that was better back in WFB.
Blackshields -> Space marines that the Imperium failed.
Eldar pirates -> Eldar pirates (Rewards Eldar unit)
Exodite Rangers -> Eldar rangers and mercs attack (Rewards Pathfinder unit)
Local raiders -> Local IG trouble makers (Rewards Stingwing unit)
Orkimedies -> The smart Ork that builds advanced technology. (Rewards Ork unit)
Sons of Malice -> Chaos Space Marines in the service of the fifth Chaos god

To the first part, you can put a requirement to have certain quests be required before receiving a quest and stages that can put the missions in a specific order in the quest. There might be something that you could write that would prevent quest overload using this, but it would probably restrict the order that the quests would appear.

To the second part, I have not seen a xml line that would control the number of quests that a player could have at a single time. like more than 0, less than 2, etc. The Discord might have more information, so I recommend getting on there and asking with the devs.

I also feel the game needs more quests. I'm curious, is there a limiting factor to the amount of quests that can fire at once? So you add a new quest and set it to occur between turns 70-100. If you keep adding quests eventually there will be enough to keep firing. Is it possible to set it so its like, between turns 70-100 and no other quests having fired in 10 turns

Well, Minimum turn requirements sound very reasonable.
So the quests always occur ... just not always on the same turn. The Lord of Skulls is a good model. It's really a shame that the devs haven't expanded on it by giving us more sidequests. I'd love to see an official quest dlc that would maybe expand the options for modders, too.

Ideally I'd want a selection of random quests from a larger bunch to add variety to each game session, but I have no idea if that would even be possible at the moment for modders.

However, I am defnitely looking forward to see what your mod can accomplish.:)

I am trying to make them like the Lord of Skulls quest. Once I built them out with custom units and traits I will put in min turn requirements so that people don't get overwhelmed by a bunch of gorkanauts on turn 5.

Great idea! I've always wanted more quests for Gladius. So I'm excited to see how this is going to turn out. :)

Are these quests going to be occuring randomly? That would, in my opinion, be ideal because it would make things less predictable.
