Description
Adds a decision to change your government type, either from Feudal to Clan or vice versa. I wanted the cost to scale with realm size, but I haven't figured out how to do that, so for now it should scale with your rank (Emperor > King > Duke > Count).

In order to take the decision, you will need to be at peace, have at least limited crown authority, and be what the game defines as a "physically able adult" which I presume to mean not being a child and not having the incapable trait. There is a 10-year cooldown, and every of your direct vassals of the same type will have their governments changed as well.

There are other mods on the Workshop that offer similar features, but most of them have not been updated for some time and I feel like this one is better integrated into the game, balance-wise. Feel free to subscribe to those instead if you don't like the idea of the decision having costs and requirements.

Ironman/Achievement compatible, of course. FYI most if not all mods have been since 1.9.

I've just tested it and it seems to be working fine both ways. Maybe a mod conflict?

I'm not actively modding at the moment and only making sure the mod stays usable, but I'll look into it if I get back to it.

I could look into it but I think it's beyond my ability. Originally I also wanted to do something more complex to represent how difficult it was historically to change a vassal's administrative system, but right now I don't know enough about modding to pull it off. The best I might be able to do is give you a decision with a small cost to force change all vassals to your government type.

Echoing what Cowcrusader said. The issue that happens is that when you are already clan or feudal and get vassals of a different type, such as when using a subjugation CB or holy wars with a pluralist faith, they stay the type they were originally. It would be nice if AI vassals would use your decision to match the government of their liege.

Would you let tribes like Norse choose Feudal or Clan?So that Norse can directly change to Clan and save 800 money,instead of change to Feudal and than waste 800 money change to Clan。

Does the AI take this decision? I really like this mod and I hate it when the AI has a different government type from me. It makes sense if the answer is no, I am just curious.

I'm looking into it. I kinda want to make the requirements and consequences a bit different to give the decision some flavour and to balance things out. I will probably get back to this later.

This looks like a great project but I don't advertise collections that includes mods I don't know, sorry. You are still free to include the translation of this mod in your collection, I don't mind.

You no longer need Ironman or mods turned off to get achievements. As far as I know, most mods (even total conversions) let you get them. If that's what you mean, then yes, it is "compatible". All of my mods are now.
