Brick Hulley House Pack

House Around Here, a Collection of SWPA homes
15 items
Description
E.B. Hulley built hundreds of houses around Pittsburgh throughout the teens and nineteen-twenties. These houses were built for common folks in the emerging middle class. Simple homes that can loosely be described as Craftsman in style. At first glance they all appear to be the same, but there were plenty of options. An optional third floor came with a dormer at the front of the home in multiple styles. I've even found one with a rear dormer that appears to be original. There were also options such as stained glass windows and a bumpout in the dining room. Most of these homes were built east of downtown in neighborhoods such as Edgewood, Swissvale, Regent Square and Wilkinsburg where many of them still remain today. There are four houses in this pack, all with a brick first floor and cedar shake second/third floors. All four houses share the same textures, so if you use loading screen mod it will save you some RAM.

Also, to address the elephant in the room. Yes, I know it has been a while since I've uploaded anything for C:S but look for more from me in the future. I have no intentions of moving on to C:S2. Based on what I know about the game I've come to the conclusion that the game just isn't for me at this point.

Please give me a like with a "thumbs up" if you enjoy.

Thank you for all of the comments. I'm glad to see so many of you sticking with C:S1 for the time being too. I hope you'll get good use out of these.

@Moch: I wouldn't say never, but houses from Florida aren't on my radar right now.

@RadicalEdward2: I'd like to do more catalog homes in the future including more single tile wide lots, but I'm planning on keeping the Hulley Houses "as built"

I love this. One of the houses that you modeled looks exactly like the one I lived in for 12 years in Swissvale. Thank you for these- I love your work.

Any chance we can get a variant with the front porch pillars being rectangular wood ones like seen in some of the Sears home catalogues?

Looks like homes I saw in Coraopolis a few days ago. Thanks for continuing to create for CS. I have zero interest in CS2 until you and Smilies, King Leno, DieHardHunter and other similar artists take everything you've made for the workshop and make them available for CS2. If that is even possible.
