This mod is not associated with the creator of Alpha Genes.

Adds genes from alpha genes to the base-game xenotypes to grant more opportunities to obtain genes from the mod and make the basegame xenotypes more interesting.

Hussars
-Armored Speed
-Dangerous Raid Presence
-Unstable Regeneration
-Enforcer
-Reduced Fertility
Better, Faster, Stronger. They are physically intimidating and can rapidly regenerate their wounds at the
cost of their lifespan.

Genie
-Clean
-Frail Back
-Reduced Raid Presence
-Low Survival Instinct
-Frail Stomach
-Tox Vulnerablility
-Bandwidth Increase
-Faster Repair Speed
-Increased Command Range
Genies have been given more weaknesses in exchange for being the best mechanitors and researchers in the game and do not count as a full pawn for raid calculations. Clean reduces filth generation allowing them to research faster.

HighMate
-Slower Aging
-Innate Psylink
-Pale Yellow Skin
-Pale Red Skin
-Cat Ears
-Ears Floppy
More appearance variety for highmates and grants them an innate psylink so they aren't too useless as colonists. Slower aging because thats just something you would expect them to have.

Dirtmole

-Pack Mule
-High Mining Yield
-Unsettling Appearance
-Banshee Scream
Dirtmoles have been improved in both function and theme. They are now even better miners and can release a startling scream that stuns for a short time. Life underground has caused them to acquire an unsettling appearance similar to deep marine life.

Impid
-Demon Tail
-Smaller Body Size
-Tox Vulnerability
Small because they are called "imps". They are given tox vulnerability since they are weak to diseases and are small.

Neanderthal
-Survival Instinct High
-Faster Aging
-Dangerous Raid Presence
-Packmule
-Slow Repair Speed
In real-life neanderthals only lived to about 40 and started hunting at a young age. So I included the faster aging gene. They can carry more stuff to make up for their slow speed. They are also poor mechanitors due to their slow repair speed.

Pigskin
-Filthy
-Extra Leather
-Table Resistance
Pig people probably wouldn't care about eating at a table. Their rotund bodies now provide more leather. Also obviously filthy.

Waster
-Acid Immunity
-Noxious Breath
-Stinky
-Filthy
-Brittle Bones
-Pollution Striding
-Lung Rot Immunity
More environmental resistances in exchange for physical frailty due to their malformations. Wasters now produce more filth. They also gain a noxious breath ability that causes others to vomit.

Yttakin
-Clawed Hands
-Efficient Mandibles
-Survival Instinct High
-Dangerous Raid Prescence
-Larger Body Size
-Mining Yield Low
They were already bad at mining and the clawed hands and mandibles reflect their animalistic traits. They are described as large in lore so I have given them larger body size.

Sanguophage
-Pointed Ears
-Innate Psylink
-Blood Vomit
-Deadly Raid Prescence
-Limb Regeneration
Pointed ears makes them look more distinctive. Innate psylink is to complement their psychic sensitivity. Limb regeneration allows them to not be left a potato due to deathless and is something they should probably have.

New Big Update!! I know I said there wouldn't be much updating but I had some ideas on how to improve the mod. Many of the xenotypes have received major changes.

I don't know what you mean. This already covers all the vanilla xenotypes. I may make some balance changes but otherwise there isn't much to update.

So did the Cro Magnons. Just an idea, make them gingers, they were all redheads due to the widespreadness of the mc1r gene.

Oh and they also all had relatively to most humans a mutation of the DRD4 gene into one called DRD4-7R, in the same way everyone with ADHD have today so one could draw the not THAT far fetched conclusion they all had ADHD, although i guess thats basically the Survival Instinct High except higher mental break threshold and pain shock resistance but a extremely rapid declining recreation bar which can be countered with some kind of recreation gain for fighting and creating art or crafting or just being in danger.

Is this compatible with the Vanilla Xenotypes Expanded set of mods, or does one override the other (or wonky stuff)?
