2 Tanks Per Chapter FIX

This addon was created by ChimiChamo. He recently removed his upload of this script because he felt there were other addons/scripts that worked better than this one. However, all of the other multiple Tank addons are static, which means you'll always know how many there are, but this one works in a way that allows variety, so you'll never know how many you have to fight. I also fixed a problem where witches would not get replaced by changing the ZOMBIE_TANK line to 8.

This script works by replacing Witches with Tanks at a base level of 2 per chapter at a 25% chance. If you would like to change how many Tanks you want to potentially be replaced and/or change the percentages you have to first launch a local server with the addon enabled, then close L4D2, then edit the settings.cfg file, which can be found under left4dead2/ems/multipletanks

I personally recommend setting the # of tanks to 3 and the % to 45, as the director usually spawns 3 bosses each chapter during normal vanilla gameplay (1 tank and 2 witches) which means you'll potentially fight up to 3 a chapter.

Note that static witch spawns (like those on Hard Rain chapter 3) will be affected and so will custom maps if they have them.

I am only uploading this publicly because it's an amazing script by him, there are no other options for multiple tanks that aren't static. and workshop collections seem to hate unlisted uploads.
