Description
Delta Four Class Long-Range Missile Submarine

General:
This creation is a nuclear missile submarine made for long-range strategic attacks using its arsenal of missiles and torpedos. Because of the amount of missiles onboard, the sub can be decently laggy. If you want less lag, you can delete some missiles and remove some decorations.

Armament:
  • 12x Long-range GPS-guided cluster missiles.
  • 12x Long-range laser land avoiding GPS-radar-guided anti-ship cruise missiles
  • 3x High-velocity Torpedoes

Performance:
54Knts Max speed while fully loaded
Infinite range because it's nuclear-powered
Decent depth hold/mostly neutral buoyancy

Features:
Small interior/crew quarters
Singleplayer usability

Other Notes:
This submarine took forever, and I tried for 60 hours to make a ballast system to no avail. I could not be bothered to make a ballast system.(so it’s constantly at nearly neutral buoyancy)
I spent more than two straight months (almost 190ish hours) building this submarine and its systems.

All systems designed by IronHorse Solutions (me, myself, and I)
Thank you Dertroks for the random help

Changed the entire depth system to be super easy to use and functional

yes so the problem the cruise missiles are having is that they just fly around in circles forever wherever you put the GPS

Thank you! I would love insight into how I should improve the cruise missiles.

great sub just gotta fix the cruise misses but clusters work great and also it goes way to fast to handle but props for this masterpiece

Also yes to let water in you can either pull a vacuum first or you can use a liquid release valve

And for gps missiles to kill ships you have to kind of know where they are, but that’s for almost any missile unless you make a patrolling system

I understand how ballasts work, the issue was fitting enough compressed air to not have to sit on the surface recompressing air every time after you surfaced.

The issue was with making a good emptying system

(said you were having trouble with ballast in the notes)

also with ballast (i heard someone say) that if you have a door on the top + bottom,
-open both to flood,
-close top (leaving bottom hatch open ) and fill ballast with compressed air (pushes water out bottom)
-fill a few air tanks with air from surface to 1000atm (yes 1000 not 100) using several impeller pumps powered by medium electric motors (not the standard pumps- they take FOREVER) - should only take 30 seconds to a minute with impellers
-no pumps needed to fill ballast tanks with either air or water (just valves and doors) the air pressure should be high enough
-if using this method try to make the ballast tanks tall and thin (if the sub is tilted then a little bit of water will be left in the bottom as the compressed air is escaping through the door on the bottom, you may need a pump or two to deal with this) but having the ballasts more skinny (length not width) should solve/minimise this
