Lite Passenger Shuttle ATIO-X

This is an experimental configuration of the Lite Transport that evolved into the admin rescue shuttle with ion engines.

It flies well enough, in space or on a planet, but lacks enough thrust to get into space on its own without a hydrogen booster, as such is was considered a failure, and further testing was discontinued by Blue Mining inc in favour of a more specialised atmospheric shuttle design.

It is not entirely useless, it is basically the same as the admin shuttle, which was designed as a fast response ship for use by admins that need a temp vehicle that can operate equally well on a planet or in space; but is not intended for extended operation.

This particular prototype was painted in darker colours to make it look more camouflaged for testing as a drop ship, and has no transmitter or beacon to reveal its location.
