Epochs - Pottery

Description

Welcome to another installment of my mod series entitled Epochs!
Epochs is going to be a small mod series focused on adding small additions to make medieval/fantasy (but not restricted to that) playthroughs of Rimworld more fun or engaging, or even more scenic.

Suggested mods to play along with this:
Dark Ages: Medieval Tools is the best mod for any kind of medieval workshop, check it out! It also adds a custom building that boosts the workspeed of medieval Turning Wheels!
Medieval Overhaul is the most classic of classics when it comes to medieval playthroughs.

If you enjoy this mod and want to see more, do feel free to like and favourite it, or even throw me a follow on Steam!

As of now, I don't want to spoil anything else that's planned for the future, so let's get into what this mod adds!

This mod is fairly more complex than the previous, and it adds 2 new workbenches, one which is medieval, and one which is industrial. It adds 2 new resources, Clay and Clay bricks, and it adds 2 new buildings made with those.

The mod has been updated with 2 (technically 3) new wall types!

Q: "Is this mod CE compatible?"
A: "I.. Suppose so?"

Q: "Is this tribal friendly?"
A: "Yes, clay and pots can both be made at a crafting spot, but big pots require either of the new turning tables, and clay bricks require a stonecutting bench too."

Q: "My pots are brown!?"
A: "Yes, pots will always start out brown due to their material. They can be painted with 1.4's built in painting system."

Q: "I encountered an error!"
A: "Send me the logs so I can identify the issue."

Q: "Can I suggest additions or new features?"
A: "Although the mod is considered complete, feel free to write down in the comments."

Visandar the Unlivingl for his generous donation of not 2, but 3 custom wall atlases, god bless..
Sir Van as his Dark Ages series was my main inspiration for Epochs.
SirLalaPyon as Medieval Overhaul was also a huge inspiration.

They're meant to be strong, marble is just a particularly weak stone.

Just a question. Are the cobb walls supposed to be stronger than marble, or would that be a "Check your mods" problem?

Why did you decide against a quality system (like normal art) for creating pottery?

For the XML patch error, you should remove the PatchOperationRemove on costList and let the PatchOperationReplace inside the PatchOperationFindMod (MedievalOverhaul) do its job :)

Also, you should add a loadAfter MedievalOverhaul inside the about.xml just to be sure :)

Hey, thanks for the mods !

I've created two "extensions" to add digging clay spot and lock content behind a neolothic research

It should be the stonecutting bench.

How do you make Clay Bricks? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Playing with Medieval Overhaul, so unsure if it's locked behind an industrial station.
