Welcom to Powerful Naval Doctrines Mod!!

The mod focuses on practicality. My goal is to make Naval Doctrine truly worthwhile. Needless to say, everything included should be fully functional. If it isn't, it's an error or bug that I'll fix ASAP. This mod enhances and expands the naval doctrine. The new Coastal Defense Doctrine for minor nations enhances the existing three lines of doctrine of Fleet Preservationism, Trade Interdiction, and Base Attack, allowing for a more dynamic naval strategy.

Coastal Defense Doctrine
Doctrine to secure sea control of one's own coast by mass-producing inexpensive coastal defense ships and to prevent powerful nations from landing on one's shores. It is a doctrine that considers only taking control of the sea in a strike mission, and naval battles are avoided as much as possible. Assuming Finland during the Winter War, Greece during the war against Italy, etc. Once you have captured the navy of the major powers at the peace conference, switch to a different doctrine.
.Doctrine content.
    • Sea control is mainly determined by "the number of sailors on a warship". Therefore, we aim to unlock the technology to build a coastal defense ship with a large number of sailors, further reduce the construction cost significantly, and seize control of the seas.
    • In exchange, the capabilities of the vessels will be greatly weakened. With a makeshift strike fleet holed up in port, the ship's sea control value will be increased.
    • Strengthen the retreat speed of ships so that they can escape in case they are involved in a battle.
    • Leave anti-ship attacks to aircraft and mines; enhance CAS anti-ship attacks and mine-laying.
    • Bonus to the speed of construction of coastal fortifications and anti-aircraft guns.




    Fleet in Being Doctrine
    A doctrine that excels at fleet escort and landing support. It is not suited for fleet decisive battles, but is best suited for protecting vast sea lanes. Focused on anti-submarine capability to sink advanced submarines with excellent covert capabilities from one end to the other.
    Reinforced parts
    • Enhanced underwater detection for light cruisers and detonation power for destroyers. Combine light aircraft carriers, patrol cruisers and anti-submarine destroyers to form a hunter-killer fleet and hunt enemy submarines from one end to the other on patrol missions.
    • Enhanced the power of ship's gunfire during landing operations.
    • Enhanced the surface and submarine detection capabilities of the four-engine maritime patrol aircraft. Throw torpedoes and aerial bombs at any enemy ship you can find.

    Trade Interdiction Doctrine
    Although trade interdiction tends to attract attention, the Doctrine actually boasts unparalleled strength in surface gun battles as well. Since submarines have already been sufficiently strengthened, we have added buffs to surface ships. Fleet escorts are the weakest, so it is for continental nations that do not need sea trade
    . Strengthening part
    • Restore the visibility bonus for surface ships that was removed in ver 1.12. This will reduce the number of shots taken and make them more resistant to bombardment.
    • Reduce the probability of enemy retreat. Once captured, the enemy fleet never escapes.
    • Slightly strengthens the search capabilities of cruisers and destroyers, allowing them to search more efficiently.
    • Provides a terrain bonus in shallow waters and fjords along the continental coast.


    Base Strike Doctrine
    Doctrine of the carrier, by the carrier, for the carrier. This doctrine is exclusive to naval nations, where fleet decisive battles are the strongest as long as the carriers are available, and fleet escorts are powerful enough. Since it relies on shipboard aircraft for all of its firepower, there is no combat power compensation for battleships and heavy cruisers. So, you should organize a large fleet with your industrial strength. Go wild westward and eastward across the Seven Seas.
    Reinforced parts
    • Directly enhance your carrier trafic. A small number of shipboard aircraft will be able to take off in the middle of the night or in a blizzard.
    • Enhances the endurance value and airworthiness of cruisers, as air attacks preferentially target ships with high endurance values. Mass produce air defense battleships like the Alaska-class large cruisers to shield the carriers.
    • Strengthen the position value because the main tactic is to hit with the mass of ships in large numbers.
    • Grant terrain bonuses in the deep waters of the open sea.





    Cold War Doctrine Group
    A post-war route that is unlocked when all existing doctrines are acquired. The route splits into two routes: one for maritime nations that focus on fleet escort, carrier operations, and landing support, and one for continental nations that focus on trade destruction, battleship operations, and landing interdiction.
    Establishment of maritime supremacy
    • Enhanced escort efficiency and anti-submarine detection capabilities. Protect your transports with inexpensive older destroyers while destroying enemy submarines with a newer fleet of specialized anti-submarine ships. If the enemy's main fleet appears, we will also launch carrier task force to intercept it.
    • Increase the range and bomb load of the ship-borne bombers, and efficiently support the landing with aircraft carriers. The maximum number of landing troops is also increased.
    • The first and last study will increase the number of civilian factories off the map by 15. Take advantage of safe sea lanes to import bashful resources.
    Antl Access and area denial
    • Enhance the surface detection capabilities of submarines and battleships. Kick out the poor enemy escorts and destroy the convoys. When the enemy fleet comes barreling in, unleash the battleships' large-caliber cannonballs on them.
    • The Marines' combat width will be reduced, and their anti-personnel firepower and breakthroughs will be extended. Let's put them on the continental front instead of ashore and fight shoulder to shoulder with the infantry divisions of the army.
    • The first and last research will increase various natural resources such as oil and iron by a total of 120 units, and mining efficiency will also increase. Support your country's strength through inland trade without succumbing to the enemy's sea blockade.

    Please use only one of the two compatibility mods, Cavalry comp and land Doctrine comp. Using both together will cause bugs.

    I think this needs a update, I'm trying to run it with the Land Doctrines comp. patch and the cavalry one, but while the latter 2 work, I cant access the Modern Naval trees
