MEM Portraits Standalone

Description
This is a standalone version of the portraits added in the More Events Mod for those who may just want to use them without the other content attached.

What do you get?

1. Orila portrait, fully animated, variable skin color, different clothing per job, a room background fitting for them. They do have cybernetics as well as a fitting synthetic portrait using holographic versions of the normal portrait for leaders and a new robot portrait for pops.
2. Vazuran portrait, fully animated, 8 color variations, a room background fitting for them
3. Chadorian portrait, every position has one unique portrait (admiral, general, governor, scientist + pop in 4 color variations based on their jobs).
4. Orila Bots, standalone version of the robot portraits used for the synthetic orila pops.
5. Apex Organism - first Broken Clock species - molluscoid - 3 phenotypes, 5 colors

What is coming in the future?

The goal for the three Broken Clock species portraits has been reached, the first of which will likely be finished by the end of 2024.

What comes beyond that depends on the support we receive. The three initial portraits were funded by us. Every species portrait produced for MEM will be added to this mod as well.

We do have plans for more portraits, but honest work has to be paid - and I'm not speaking about myself here, but the artist, who created the portraits.

So if you enjoy what this mod offers and want to see more in the future, please consider supporting us. You help us in improving the main mod and you support the artist as well all in one go.

Thanks.

Yeah, it is up to date with the current version and should work fine with and without machine age. If you notice anthing that doesn't work as expected, let me know.

Is this mod compatible with The Machine Age?

Got it. Thanks, mate.

@Pury Correct. The latest Stellaris update reintroduced the modular way of adding portraits to existing entries, so there is no more need for compatibility patches just as it was before Machine Age.

There is no more need for compatibility patches with other portrait mods since the latest update?

That’s okay I thank you so much!

Thank you for reminding me. I pushed the update a bit too long before my feet and nearly forgot to do it. Your custom empires with these portraits should now spawn, but as mentioned with the drawback that randomly generated empires may use them as well. I hope this issue will be fixed in the future, but there is little I can do at the moment.

Hope you’ll do it though as I really enjoy them

@Muffin It appears that the randomizable setting does not exactly do what the documentation says. According to it, setting it to no should prevent the portrait to be used for a randomly generated empire, but it seems it also blocks it from being force spawned as a custom empire... Given that I'll have to make the portraits available for randomization so they can be force spawned. Less than ideal, but there seems to be no other way.
