Have you ever felt yourself more a baby tender than a commander because your units stop doing what they were doing and go smoking every 5 seconds for CA knows what reason? If yes - this mod is for you.

It helps your units with one simple thing - following orders
If one was ordered to attack, the unit will continue to attack until there is no one to attack.
If one was ordered to stay - he will stay

- automatically attack nearby targets from idle mode if last command from player was to attack
- will not attack if guard mode is enabled

there is also a bit of logic implemented
- units prefer to attack same target as before they gone idle unless it is shattered
- ranged units will attack same target if its in their range
- active units preferred over routing or shattered ones
- routing ones preferred over shattered
- new: units attacking shattered targets will change to another target if there is more than 4 active enemy units left and current target is not a character

if you see any inconsistencies or something can be improved - let me know, but basic purpose of the mod - to handle idle states giving you time for more important decisions

The is few MCT (Mod Configuration Tool) options, so check it out! To persist changes should be made in campaign

So TL:DR is that autotarget+attack IS great, but would be far better if flyers only autoattack other flyers. Once you issue attack to ground target and they land they could be working like they are right now, picking closest target when the one they're focusing on routes/shatters. Orrr if that would be just too much hassle maybe having MCT option to ignore flying units would also be welcome :)

IT would be great if he would automatically target+attack first target nearby but would make more sense to attack only flying targets when he's flying himself. Samé issue when your attack towers, once destroyed flying units will seek+attack first target. Flyers have great advantage by choosing your engagement, this issue takes it away should you not micromanage flyers All the time

Easy example. I send empire captain on pegas to fight something like furies that he Can handle, i dont want him to immediatelly attack ground target Once they router/disentigrate as there could be halberds or other unit that Can wreck him when he's alone.

Deo do you think you can stop flying hero/lord units and/or single entity fliers from flying Down and immediately engaging closest ground unit after they kill flying enemy they were fighting? This happens even without your mod just nôt 100% of the tíme. If I use guard more they wont do it, but you cant fight with flyers on guard mode as they just keep bumping, moving, hitting then repeat All the time.

it may happen if you add unit to the group and command that group to attack, in this case they may not stay idle

I have been experiencing some wonky things with kairos. Whenever i park him flying over an army to use his spells, he keeps flying down to attack units even if i just tell him to iddle there
