Culture Unit Makeover Thematic Add-On

Description

This mod adds several new options of outfits for the base core units of each culture using Chickensmasher's Culture Unit Makeover logic (No other mod is required).

The idea is to have options to mix and match and make any thematic factions you can create with base tomes, right now i feel confident that most are covered, but if you have a unique idea that feels lacking, let me know.

New DLC Primal Fury options are included.

DISCLAIMER - To fix an issue with the Reaver Culture (and other closed helmets), most base forms will have a version without a helmet, the OG look will be available as an additional option.

Leaders on the examples were build using separate cosmetic mods.

@Mythos i confess i did not look into it too much, but you can take a look into Culture and Alt Appearence from Schnitzel for some clues on how to do it.

His mod does it pretty well and since we tried to keep our mods compatible with each other as much as possible, the logic should work similar to this one.

Gloom strider knights and dark knights appear funky, body missing and lance+armor bunched up in the middle of the model.

Does this still work or do I only Use Von's now? Cos his version only has 2 armor sets and not even for all culture.

I was trying to make a personal submod for this to make the custom outfits also change the weapons, but I'm not having any luck with it. As far as I can tell I'm setting up my new modularity components for weapons exactly the same as the various outfit ones (unlocked by the same provider, copying the same tag filters) but they don't have any effect.

Is there some technical reason that would keep weapons from being changed in the same way? I'm wondering if it's something you tried while making this mod and found out wouldn't work.

Definitely *not* a mod conflict; tried it with JUST this mod active, and it still happened...

I take it that the 'disappearing weapons' issue is only for Reavers? I tried it with a Dark Faction and they don't seem to have the issue...

...Then again, I DO have QUITE a few mods...but considering one of the 'disappearing weapons' problems comes from one of the vanilla Reaver units, idk if it's one of them...

Adding to -Macht's comment. It seems to be tied to the mount slot. As equipping one fixes it.

Thanks for the report Macht. The bug is confirmed, but it seems to only affect that t1 sword that comes in on the loadout , once you swap to literal any other equipment it will fix itself. I will look on how to fix it for the next update. (Btw, what a random ass bug, wth :steamhappy:)

@Bagas using the "Lasher Sword and Shield" breaks the ruler/unit model. Just wanted to report. This is a wonderful mod but there's still a few bugs that need to iron out cuz of the new patch.
