One With Shadows: Proficiency Reaper Animations

Description
The Reapers cool animation gimmick was taken away when Proficiency Reaper came out, and I say no more, introducing “One With Shadows” which simply re-adds the Shadow animations from base-game Reaper for Proficiency Reaper and Reaper Scout, that’s it.

In reality, all this mod does is make the Reaper hold their gun in one hand while running and crouch no matter what cover they are in (as long as they are concealed).

Due to MrCloista's request, the animations can be applied to any class you want, add the class name you want in "XComGame.ini" with "+WhitelistedSoldierClass=" and it should apply in game. Keep in mind, the animation only plays if the unit is Concealed.

This mod does nothing on its own and requires atleast one of the mods below.

Affected Classes

If you want to forfeit the mods above, simply use the whitelist system to give the class you want the animations.

Issues/Conflicts
  • If the unit walks into a tile where their concealment will break, the animation will revert to normal before loss of concealment.
  • Will not work with Proficiency Reaper HUD Plugin. Untested but will likely cause issues since they affect similar things.

Credits
  • Veehementia – For making the Proficiency Reaper HUD Plugin, this made me want to just add the animations.
  • MrCloista - Asking politely if I could allow the animations to apply to other classes (and they now can).
  • Everyone's mods that mine requires - Literally couldn't exist without them, they are talented modders.

Closing Notes
I do not plan to come back to this mod unless something breaks it substantially, this was simply made for personal use and for those who want it to enjoy.

Any class via the config you say? Well here comes that sneaky muton, able to blend into the shadows like a master of disguise

Now updated to work on a new Whitelist System, will allow you to add the animation to characters you want, but only while they are in concealment.

@MrCloista I think I figured it out, going to test a few things, if it's all working, new update.

Would be simply adding a var config name yeah.

The mod needs a class name, the only problem is converting that into an editable config file.

@MrCloista The only issue is that it controls everything in the X2Downloadable.uc and I would be unsure how to apply to multiple classes. I'd guess a var name tag, but I truly don't know.

Any chance of exposing to config what soldier templates/classes this can be applied to?
