Vehicle information

Well, this car marks 1 year since I started modeling. 1 year since the Greyhound Silversides came out, which arguably is the best thing i've made, Thanks to Jaksch of course. 1 year of practicing and practicing in blender to get somewhat better at making cars.

Only a handful of cars have made it to you all here on the workshop but that does not mean you won't see the rest eventually. Many more are just waiting to come to life.

I appreciate every one of you who have liked and even disliked one of my creations as it only made me want to do better, and make something worth while.

Thanks once again to Jaksch this Halloween I present to you a 1958 Plymouth Fury. Many may recognize this from John Carpenter's cult classic "Christine" which made its debut 1983 to a 'staggering' box office of 21 million dollars. It did in fact make a profit as it only cost around 9.7 million to make at the time.

Well its been 40 years since then, and people still are scared of the fiery red beast.

Fun fact: 16 Plymouth Fury's were used to film and seven were used as parts.

@Nullsushi87 im not quite sure what can cause this most likely there is a mod you are subscribed to that is causing this. Download SKYVE if you arent already and routinely check your mods for any outdated issues.

@LazyBot I’m not sure if you know what causes this, but I’ve experienced this bug on two low-end PCs. The tires on cars will grow and shrink rapidly, regardless of whether the cars are vanilla or modded. Do you know what causes this?

@TheCityGuy2022 I just played the game for a bit and was unable to see any issue on my end. maybe something is messing around in your game unfortunately.

@LazyBot BTW, I noticed that your Fury has a weird white line on the bottom of its front bumper, any chances of fixing this issue?

@Nullsushi87 But i also wouldnt be here without both Blue Thunder and Jaksch for taking time to texture and do all the dirty work of making it game ready.

@Nullsushi87 Well for me personally i started off with basically a car that was cube shaped. The first vehicle i ever made was a Studebaker Zip van which is literally a toaster oven. I had some help from jaksch for smoothing some stuff and learned when and where to cut out some tri count, yet im still a bit heavy on them now. Start messing around with a cube, Extrude it, bevel it. Cut out some windows just make a blocky car, use cylinders for wheels and boom. Then find a nice car you like, with some great blueprints or side profle shots and front pics and some rear pics and just try outlining the general shape. Dont worry about tris right now just get the shape down. then worry about details later using the slice tool to add them in. thats basically how i do it. its rough but i make it work.
