This may help you to get better FPS in your game, but it may not help everybody. It also depends on your computer. Personally, this helps for me.

TO USE LAUNCH CODES DO THIS:

1. Go to your game LIBRARY

2. Right click on ARMA 2 shortcut

3. Click on Properties

4. Click on "Set Launch Options..."

5. Insert foloving codes:
____________________________________________________

-nosplash -high -noPause -world=empty -exThreads=1
____________________________________________________

6. Start game

What does this codes do:

-nosplash takes the logo screen off of the launch making you launch faster.

-high sets the priority on you processor to high.

-noPause makes it so you game dosnt freeze on tabbing out or clicking elsewhere off screen.

-world=empty sets the mainmenu world to a blank ocean which makes launch also load faster

-exThreads=3 allows the game to use 4 cpu cores instead of only 1
( if you dont have a quad-core use -exThreads=1 to enable dual-core )

Tell me, how to disable vertical sync?
There is no such item in the game settings, and turning off the video driver settings (AMD) did not bring any result.
Very uncomfortable mouse movement at 60 frames. Recently tried ARMA 3, and there it is easy to solve.

make sure you have aoexe.set to high priority in the task manager will help also

my pc spec is higher than minimum spec to play this game, but command "-high" makes my pc more laggy

is it possible that your system cant handle game? Arma 2 is not very good optimized for lower specs...

I cant even load the game it just says "Warning: preNLODcformat in object ca\characteristics\krvava_skvrna.p3d Please Help!!!
