LRM Aerospace - 2 stage orbiter w/ launchpad

Starting with our S.S.T.O. as a base engine, We added a cabin capsule as well as basic survival gear and navigational equipment. Thus was the result, the LRM 2 Stage Orbiter.


1. Spawn vehicle, turn refueling pumps on
2. Board the elevator, ascend.
3. Enter capsule via hatch and sit in Commanders seat
4. WAIT UNTIL CAPLUSE OXYGEN IS BETWEEN 240-260 BAR AND ALL THURSTER FUELS HAVE ACHIEVED 175+ BAR
5. Flip RELEASE HOSES switch
6. Enable LAUNCH ( this opens the fuel valves to the thrusters, wasting fuel to atmosphere unless burning)
7. Keep compass ball centered at 90* inclination while climbing (as best as possible)
8. When fuel is low, main stage auto-releases, and capsule stage auto-fires, so don't let off the throttle!
9. At 40,000 m, the Altimeter and Speed gauge will zero out. This indicates you are now in space.


The capsule auto-launches when the Main hydrogen tank pressure falls below 5 bar, releasing the first stage and auto-firing the second stage thruster (so long as throttle is held).
