The British Raj focus tree allows you to change to Fascist or Communist by asking Germany or the Soviet Union for support with the "Seek Help From (Soviet/Germany)" focuses.

In the VERY rare case that either agree, the UK will likely deny you full independence straight away, forcing a civil war with the focuses "Indian Peoples Army" or "Indian National Army".

Even IF Britain releases you straight away, you are forced into a bugged civil war when taking those focuses, and a Non-Aligned India will rise up and join the Allies regardless, which led me to create this mod.

This mod removes the option for Germany or the Soviet Union to deny you support, and Britain will now always grant you full independence when they intervene.
Furthermore, this mod fixes the bugged civil war, which will now only happen in the case that the Allies are already at war with the Germans or the Soviets and have called you in when you do the focuses.

This means you will always get the leader "Subhas Chandra Bose" who is the only Indian leader with a trait, "Indomitable Perseverance", with a measly +4.0% Division Recovery Rate. If you don't do the civil war, you also get to keep all your original generals.

India will also now switch to the cosmetic tag RAJ_FREE, which seems to be hidden from base game as it will turn to a nice green colour (it always seems to switch to OG Orange at some point anyway though).

Lastly I made the focus "British Army Support" bypassable when you are independent so that you can gain the benefits of the focuses "Red Eagle Division", "Chindits" and "Jungle Training". I thought it was kind of boring to play as India without these.

TLDR
- Germany and Soviets will always back India's independence, and Britain will always grant it to them. This is a base game feature that can make your India game much more fun but the AI isn't coded for fun.

- The Raj will no longer be forced into a civil war when taking the "Indian Peoples Army" or "Indian National Army" focuses, unless it is still a puppet when the UK is at war with either Germany or the Soviet Union. This is a bug fix.

- Gives access to mountaineer / jungle buffs for India that were not previously available for fascist/communist path.

Use this mod if you want a less buggy and more fun playthrough as Fascist or Communist India.

Tips:
- Do the focus "Seek Help from (Soviet/Germany)" before the UK drags you into a war with the Germans or the Soviets to avoid civil war.
- Before this, take the focus "Two-Nation Theory" to prevent Pakistan and Burma from rising up after independence.
- At game start, put these nations on "Civilian Oversight" occupation law to grow their compliance - they won't gain resistance until you're independent.
- SOVIETS OR GERMANY MUST STAY COMMUNIST OR FASCIST/Non-Aligned RESPECTIVELY
