Description
Arachnarok Spiders are very cool, with their chitin and greasy gobbos, but they don't perform at their price point in campaign. They get very little research bonus, and they have the second largest hitbox in the game.

No longer.

As the centerpiece to your Greenskin army, the spiders should be capable of bringing the fight to all challengers, so I have improved their combat effectiveness vs unshielded infantry by giving them better goblins. These more effective mushroom eaters will help even the playing field against the AI infantry hordes.

The better archers also change how you use the spiders, since previously the archers did pretty much nothing except apply poison.

Effects all Arachnarok Spiders that use the default goblins. Should be loaded before any mods that add more Arachnarok spiders.

Melee Defense: 30 --> 42
Range: 100 --> 120
Missile Damage: 19 --> 12
AP Missile Damage: 5 --> 12
Bonus vs Infantry (missile): 0 --> 16
Melee Cp --> 1900-2100, 2400-2500
Increased projectile penetration to medium_2

I wish someone would make an Aracknarok spider with an artillery piece on it! Like a Greenskin Stegodon

They're certainly big enough, and that plus the gobbos for short range would make them a true monster on the battlefield

If the better archers make the spider overperform against anything in particular let me know. The spider still dies horribly versus pikes so I'm pretty happy with it.

You missed the autoresolve balancing, but nice job typing it up for me so I didn't have to!
It is save compatible, all unit stat mods like this that edit units that already exist on the map are.

Had a chance to look. As far as I can tell:
Melee Defense: 30 --> 42
Range: 100 --> 120

Brilliant! Dont see enough of these in campaigns, which is a massive shame as they're such an awesome looking unit!

Nice work, could you list if it is save compatible, and what stats you changed (ie. unmodded 20 = modded 30) please?

Specific changes in text or picture form would be helpful. Before and after would be ideal.
For example (I'm making stuff up, no idea what you've done):
"Range 75 --> 120
Missile damage 2 --> 15
Everything else is untouched."
