TFS-01 Space Pinto

A punishment detail and cheap, short-range surface-to-orbit shuttle in one, the Space Pinto was received with equal parts disdain and bemusement upon its introduction to the market. Possessing two large hydrogen tanks, two medium cargo containers, enough thrust to semi-reliably operate in the range of 0.2 to 1.0g's, and (debatably) passenger space for four, the Pinto is a adequate courier for small scale cargo and personnel transfer, able to squeeze into compact hangars.

Despite a reputation for exploding into dust the moment someone sneezes near its exposed fuel tanks, the Pinto is, surprisingly, able to survive slamming into a Earth-like world at significant velocity, as long as it lands on the nose. Whether or not the crew survive is another matter.
