My intentions for downscaling all of the NABI's mods is to provide engine-safe models that have significantly decreased chances of getting the OUT OF MEMORY errors we all probably know and rightfully hate. I am not saying NABI's mods are bad, incompatible, etc. It is simply a result of Left 4 Dead 2 being such an old game and the engine's instability with high-quality workshop mods like the Chia Series.

This is not my original works. All I have done is provided downscaled textures (1024x1024). You can find the original author at the top of the description and the original workshop content below.

plus the game is gritty, having low detail oftentimes make it looks grainy and murky, which fits the intended style.

@Meyers07 It gets worse with custom survivor models and infected models. Most people have 4K textures for those models (remember that most survivor models have more than 1 texture map and possibly multiple textures).
Do know that this significantly reduces the quality of the texture though as you're essentially losing 4x the detail. It is my preference though, as I barely am looking at the model and mainly at the zombies so I think that as long as the texture is high-resolution so that I don't constantly go "that looks blocky" then it's fine :>

really, i can't understand how and why they cram 100+mb items for an x86 game...
