Description
IMPORTANT - This mod REQUIRES both THG Armory and THG Weapons packs in order to function properly, or else you may find NPCs lacking armor/weapons.

ALSO IMPORTANT - THIS IS AN OVERRIDE! In order for it to work appropriately, be sure to load it BEFORE other mods which override outpost NPCs and bandits.


This mod distributes a large quantity of the weapons and armor found within THG Armory's "Vanilla" mod packs to NPCs on outposts, ranging from coalition members to separatists, bandits, pirates, and even civilians. Europa is a dangerous place - it would be unwise not to stay strapped!

Common, low-tier weapons are now much more readily found in the hands of almost all of Europa's inhabitants - auto pistols, makeshift firearms and basic revolvers are a staple carry by most, with civilian-grade long guns such as the Levergun making an occasional appearance. More NPCs now wear light ballistic armor as well to protect themselves against their fellow opium-riddled and armed members of sub aquatic society.

Higher-end weapons are available to security forces and high-tier bandits, such as assault carbines, semi-automatic shotguns and more. They also have a chance to spawn with high-tier armor such as the dreaded Rhino Assault Suit, Lynx Exoskeleton frame and both the riot and demolition suits. Mine workers and engineers of all sorts also are quite likely to spawn with Coalition standard safety-issue hard hats. Some high-end enemies even carry sidearms, in addition to a primary arm, in case they run out of ammunition.

PRE-EMPTIVE FAQ:
Q: Why not include this base in the THG Weapons/Armor packs?
A: Since the THG Armory pack is split up into multiple modules, it would be difficult to set up a integrated patch without excluding items from other modules, and i'm against lumping everything together into one giga-super-mega mod.

Q: Why not include content from melee, ammo, etc. ?
A: I didn't want to force people to utilize all the packs if they don't want to, and unless i receive a lot of feedback asking for these additions i won't include them in this patch - so i decided to just use the two most popular.

Is there a way to make this mod work with enhanced armaments(EA)? Because Currently, if the EA mod is above this mod, the bots don't spawn with THG armors and weapons, and if the override is above EA, the bots only spawn with THG gear, so is there a way to fix this?

@caninmyham you still updating your THG mods? Or at least bug fixing them for the newest updates or are you done for now?

There's a good chance my spawn lists are out of date and/or conflicting with current ones, unfortunately I haven't really been playing Barotrauma much of late but when I get back into it at some point i will likely update this mod.

In the meantime, anyone has my preemptive permission to make an unofficial patch or update in the mean time if they would like as long as they link to this page.

Hey, the mod works a bit (at least one bandit did spawn with both rhino armor and CQC rifle with a grenade he readily used on me) but tends to throw errors and not spawn anyone at all. In the case of Jailbreak, it doesn't spawn the Coalition agents, and in the case of bandit outposts, it doesn't spawn various bandit elites and heavies. The errors thrown are 'prefabs missing in <charactercategoryfolder>' type errors.

I'm sure I've just screwed something up, but I'm not sure what and I'm hoping someone here's smart than I am ^^

This mod causes all clients connected to the server to be kicked on round start with the error

`Black Moons has been kicked from the server. Reason: Missing item Riot Gear, sub: none (event id 1220, entity id 10065).`

once I get to late 2nd biome in campaign.

Removing the mod causes the error to stop. (Load order is THG turrets/weapons/ammo/armor/utility then NPC overrides. Moving NPC overrides to top of load order does not help.)
