Light And Heavy Spark armors

Description
Adds Light and Heavy variants of SPARK armors, with different stats and some extra perks/abilities that can be disabled via Config.




Heavy SPARK armors grant ablative health in addition to health and armor with penalties to mobility and defence.
They also grant a passive wall break effect, but can no longer climb or jump up surfaces. This has the (semi intentional) side effect of making stealth with Heavy SPARK armors impossible, as your concealment will break the moment the SPARK moves.

Light SPARK armors add very little health and have less armor, but gain defence, mobility and a small amount of dodge. They also gain a small suite of stealth and vision related perks. All gain ShadowStrike, Phantom and BattleSpace (ABB Perk Pack). Plated and Powered Light variants also gain Ghost (From Proficiency).




I found it weird that between SPARK Arsenal, Modular SPARKS, Mechatronic warfare and all the other SPARK rebalance mods, there wasn't a single one that let you pick a different armor/chassis. Despite these mods playing into the generalist and adaptive nature of SPARKS being able to fill any role.
The only mod I've seen which has added a type of SPARK armor is "SPARK miniguns", which is an odd name for a mod that adds in a fully realised Legion Titan + abilities to the game.


Script is mostly stolen from various other mods and cobbled together. I don't know if a mod this basic can break something or not.

Made in hopes that my SPARK in Northstar cosplay should hopefully play slightly differently than the SPARK customised to look like Scorch.

Love this mod, but have a request. Would it be possible to pack the perks in with this mod natively, instead of requiring Proficiency Class Pack? I use a different setup, and that mod would mess with my modlist.

After several Battles with light and Heavy armor, I have a suggestion / request. Is it possible to insert a symbol what you wearing for light or heavy? With alot of Mecs and Sparks you do not see who is breaking concealment. A tactic breaker ends in an early advent massacre :-) would be nice to be able to setup an ambush AND knowing which metal idiot do break the silence

I activated it during midgame.- so all tier armor are available.

well on my xcom it is infinite. which is fine. great work by the way. found the armor

Is it buildable like the normal heavy/light armor or is it infinite?

so how to obtain ? I have an unlocked vestslot for human and robotic ( Realitymachinas vest unlock). Do I have to research it or does it come with a tech ? in Proving ground there is no research either. New campaign or midgame possible ?

So they're armor templates then. Good to know, will write them up into the AML O+E so they intergrate with other similar armors for use in TLM .

Just carbon copies of the vanilla SPARK armors with different stats and related perks. All of which can be enabled/disabled/tweaked in the config.

They should be given to you when you buy the normal armors, and are equiped as armors.

We too are curious as to wether this is implemented as vests or as armor templates.
