The FW-1 Flying wing "Comb", is a long range dual engine flying wing, capable of carrying cargo under its wings, or weapons under its wings on any of its 8 hardpoints.

It got its name "Comb" after one of the test pilots mentioned how the hardpoints make the wings look like a hair comb.

It has a crew of 2, a pilot and engineer, with the engineer monitoring engine info and having access to fire suppression systems. It also has accommodations for 2 passengers.

The flight cabin is sealed for high altitude and harsh flying conditions, including a heater for cold environments.

It has around 5000 liters of fuel with a untested range.

It has a innovative safety feature that is most commonly found on Cirrus planes, a built in parachute to safely bring the plane to the ground in the event of a emergency.

The FW-1 can float on water in the event of a water landing, and stay floating indefinitely, and is able to be pulled by a boat back to port to be recovered, or recovered by a strong enough helicopter.

During test flights we discovered that it would be best not to bank, go vertical, or pull chutes at low altitude for the safety of the plane.

To get in: Go behind the wing on either side, use the handle to get ontop, open the hatch near the front to go inside.

To start: Turn off parking break, throttle up a bit, press starter.

To take off: Wait until the back wheels lift up, then pull up.
