[TRF] Thri-Len Class Frigate

Hello again : p

This ship is the second in a bundle that won a vote on my discord for the next round up uploads.
However I wont be able to upload the third do the fact that I will be heading off to start university a day or two after this is released : (

That said I build this ship a while ago for my friends [Senturu] navy [T.R.F] as it is somewhat close to mine own in game and in lore. However I left in my finish late pile like all good engineers do, until pulling it our and finishing it recently.
This ship is meant to fit in with his previous generation of lighter grey ships as a fort of later off shoot version of them.

The Tho-Ru Federation is a democratic federation that was formed as a unified faction by an assortment of systems that were attempting to break away from their oppression and exploitation by the hands of the Tho-Ru Imperium. This civil war is currently one of the biggest in the south eastern region of the galaxy on galactic maps, and has not been going well for the fledgling young nation.

It was this conflict that the Thri-Len was born from and the grim situation the T.R.F found itself within.
At the time and still much to this day the T.R.F lack much of a robust and highly built up ship manufacturing, base along with the industries needed to go with it. Because of this they couldn't easily use, purify and refine much of the resources and materials that lay beneath their feet. Because of this much of the T.R.F navy was small, old and lacked much of a punch to keep there T.R.I belligerents away. And while A.R.S shipyards offered to build and repair there ships, they lacked the funds and trust in A.R.S. Which was a self governed region that was officially a part of the Tho-Ru Imperium but given near complete freedom and control over the space it held.

This led to the T.R.F requesting assistance from any other free nations that would heed their call for help as there fleet just couldn't stand up against there oppressors. It would be the COF that would answer the call.

Officially the Coalition had remained neutral since it was still spread thin due to the hive dominion war and the massive distance from the T.R.F with only some limited forces in and around T.R.F space. Mainly elements of the newly created 7th Main fleet under the echo expedition reinvestigating the south eastern area of the galaxy after not keeping up much contact for 5 decades. But once the T.R.I 11th missile cruiser fleet nuked and pillaged one of the T.R.I biggest civilian cargo and trade ports in the keelian-tra incident. The C.O.F began to ramp up it's support. Initially this was in the form of assistance in building up the much needed industry at rapid rate. As well as free repairs, resupply and a safe harbour at the C.O.F fleetyard in T.R.F space, but quickly grew to training T.R.F crews and older mothballed and decommissioned ships going 'missing' or reactivated for 'fleet exercises' from COFN drydocks in Coalition space. But eventually the T.R.F navy needed a newer and more modern ship. And so it was here that the Thri-Len's design begun construction and would be developed.

The ship needed to be easy to produce in order to be repairable and properly built at T.R.F shipyards, not just the COFN fleetyard this was two fold as is would allow the class to be fielded in numbers. This in tandem with a small number of older, but capable C.O.F weapons, previous generation C.O.F tech, a weaker from of MCEREA protection system gave the ship a good level of Survivability.

While not all theses capability would be equipped on every single Thri-Len due to low supply numbers; all would receive it eventually. But one thing that every Thri-Len class would receive was an older generation self repair system that would later go on be 'acquired' and domestically produced with other ships being upgraded with it as the T.R.F began to push back and produce more of its own ships.

The Thri-Len's first combat would see the first 37 frigates be readied in time for the first battle over Tial-Froe and side by side with the few T.R.F cruisers of the 3rd fleet in tandem with a small C.O.F battlegroup under special orders. They were able to repel the main T.R.I armada, causing panic, disorder, chaos and heavy losses for the invaders.

Now several Thri-Len's units have been brought under an allied command training program, primarliy for the C.O.F 7th main fleet to help train up new T.R.F crews.

The impact of this event...
Has yet to be seen.
And this war is against the T.R.I is far from over, and may only be the beginning.
