Construction 2001

A particularly dusty map found in the oldest parts of the WC mappack, this particular map has only one known iteration that is still accessible in the files, dating back to 2001.

The map includes a large construction zone, which would have served as an introduction to parkour and combat, with the player needing to jump off of the moving elevator and traverse the crumbling buildings surrounding the site.

Although the map's original layout remains intact, I cleaned up some outdated things, updated some of the logic, redid most of the textures and models, and inserted a simple 3D skybox. Of course, all NPCs, enemies, weapons, and other fluff have been removed for an optimal sandbox experience.

This map was originally referred to as c17_03_08 in the beta files.

Credit goes to hl2-beta.ru, VDU, and all of its associated creators for restoring the textures, models, etc. This was my first "real" shot at restoring a Half-Life 2 beta map.
