Description
Aladdin Houses "Built In A Day"

The Aladdin Company of Bay City Michigan was a pioneer in the pre-cut, mail order home industry. The company was the first to offer a true kit house composed of precut, numbered pieces. Operations began in 1906 (two years before Sears) and expanded quickly to become one of largest mail-order house companies. By 1915 sales surpassed $1 million. In 1918 Aladdin alone accounted for 2.37% of all housing starts in the United States, around 1,800 homes. The company's greatest success came from sales to industries which constructed company towns around new plants, mines and mills. Over its more than seventy years in business, Aladdin sold more than 75,000 homes.

Did you ever see a more beautiful picture of its kind than the one shown here? The exterior of the Shadow Lawn is one that has appealed greatly to our customers. A slight diversion from the customary is had in the wood-sided first story with second story shingled. Notice also the detail of the front of the Shadow Lawn. On both first and second stories grouped or triple windows are used in perfect harmony and balance.

Includes both "thus" and "opposite" reverse plan variation.

Please give me a like with a "thumbs up" if you enjoy.

@CoolJay78: Agreed!

@Adventures: Sorry, but I've been trying not to monetize my hobbies. I did think about it at one point but decided against it. I currently have a pretty big backlog of inspiration, and a seemingly dwindling amount of free time. If I ever change my mind, I'll let you know. I do appreciate the support though!
