CPU and HD are typically overlooked when purchasing a pre-built (in addition to MOBO), as most just care about GPU and RAM (not paying attention to clock speed bottlenecks of entire setup). :steamfacepalm:

Current:
GPU NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti (12GB)
CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13600K (core clock 5100MHz)
RAM 64.0 GB G.Skill DDR5 (overkill haha)
HD Samsung SSD 980 Pro
System Win 11

No OC gives me 140+ FPS in game and 60+ in cities.
I upgraded just a week ago from a 9 year old tater tot:
GPU NVIDIA RTX 2070 (4GB) - only 3yr old - read/write limited by CPU and HD
CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K (core clock 3500MHz) - read/write was too slow
RAM 32.0 GB Ripjaws DDR3 - read/write limited by CPU and HD
HD Crucial CT 480M (SSD) - read/write was too slow
System Win 10

Played 40+ hours on my potato, but just wasn't moving data fast enough.

Take care Spacers!

RX 6800
Ryzen 7 58003D
16 GB of RAM
Samsung 980 NVME SSD

about 4+ hours in and I average about 100fps on the default high setting.

I'm on a laptop and have no FPS issues playing HIgh/Medium. I wonder what the bottleneck is for so many players?

I have a geforce gtx 1070 ftw with 32 gigs of ram. I can't even play the game on the lowest settings without the game freezing every 10 seconds. Screw the whole "can't get above 60fps" thing, I just wanna be able to actually PLAY the game.

Ah, so either wait for Bethesda to maybe optimize it, or just suffer with the lower quality. Thank you :LIS_poker_face:

Its the game not the video card, 7900xt here barely get 80 frames past prologue on ultra. I sometimes dip to 50 in New Atlantis :winter2019sadyul:.

Bruh, I got an AMD Ryzen 9 7590X, an RTX 3090 Ti, and 32 Gigs of DDR5 RAM, and I had to lower some settings from Ultra to High just to get an above 60 FPS just after collecting that artefact. My hardware should not have that kind of issue, given what I could find, the 3090 Ti should be enough for Ultra Settings. Admittedly, the 30 series is probably the worst RTX series I could've chosen to buy (the 40 Series wasn't out yet and there is at least another two years for the 50 Series), but still. If it's just the fact I am doing something wrong, I'd love to hear a solution.
