Unmodded Rimworld pawns will pick their most damaging attack 3/4 of the time (iirc.). If they have a more damaging attack for any reason they may not pick the Acidic Attack very often.

Check her slime bar setting. Most likely it is set to something high so she keeps using up the food to grow to the next stage and then starve back down after awhile.
I've just had a paralytic abasia event, Toxic Sludge xenotype. She is in bed and every time someone brings her a meal her fullness goes up to around 70% momentarily and then back down to around 10-15%.
Is this working as intended?
Evolved Organs Redux patches the default humans with a bunch of stuff. I imagine that might make things explode. I don't think I can do terribly much about it.

The one that blocks both armor and clothing? I guess I might have to test that.

I had honestly thought the dependency genes prevented overdose. I've put it on my to-do to try to sort that.
