Description
Adds some additional tool slot items to the game.

Adds 11 new tool slot items to the game and provides research and recipes for 1 existing game tool for which no such option is currently provided.

2 for personal temperature control, for either keeping warmer or cooler. Allowing you to perhaps make different choices for clothing equipment, at the cost of using a tool slot for it.

2 for personal protection, making your survivor more resistant to damage, 1 for survivor happiness, 1 to increase rate of skill gain, 6 tools for various work activities and 1 which increases survivors walking speed.

  • Field Glasses - Increases worker efficiency when conducting field observation. Crafted on the Workbench and unlocked by Toolsmithing.
  • Farming Tools - Increases worker efficiency when planting, harvesting, fertilizing, cutting and chopping. Basically an overhauled version of the game's Harvesting tool. Crafted on the Workbench.
    This recipe unlocks when Toolsmithing is researched.
  • Pickaxe - Increases the chances of prospecting when performing the mining activity and increases worker efficiency when salvaging, scavenging, cutting, chopping and mining. Crafted on the Workbench.
    This recipe unlocks when Toolsmithing is researched.
  • Crafting Toolbelt - Increases worker efficiency when Assembling and crafting. Crafted on the Workbench.
    This recipe unlocks when Toolsmithing is researched.
  • Sewing Kit - Increases worker efficiency when Tailoring. Crafted on the Workbench.
    This recipe unlocks when Toolsmithing is researched.
  • Construction Hammer - Increases worker efficiency when constructing, repairing or upgrading. Crafted on the Workbench.
    This recipe unlocks when Toolsmithing is researched.
  • Personal Cooling device - Cools off the survivor wearing it, but makes them slightly more vulnerable to low temperatures. Crafted on Soldering Bench.
    Requires completion of Toolsmithing research to unlock and unhide required research project, "Personal Temperature Control".
  • Thermal Underwear (Long Johns) - Keeps the Survivor warmer, but makes them less resistant to high temperatures. Crafted on Tailoring bench.
    Requires completion of Toolsmithing research to unlock and unhide required research project, "Personal Temperature Control".
  • Step counter - A personal fitness tracker and step counter, that keeps your survivors more aware of their overall fitness and encourages them to walk (increasing survivor speed when the device is equipped). Crafted on Soldering Bench.
    Requires discovery of Energy Crystals to unlock and unhide required research project, "Step Counter".
  • Bulletproof Vest - Protective gear, slightly raises survivor health, piercing and blunt resistance. Crafted on Workbench.
    Requires completion of Toolsmithing research to unlock and unhide required research project, "BulletProof Vests".
  • Personal Shield - Protective gear, significantly raises survivor health, energy, piercing and blunt resistance. Crafted on Soldering bench.
    Requires discovery of Energy Crystals to unlock and unhide required research project, "Personal Deflector Shields".
  • Pain Relief Patch - Provides a constant alleviation of pain (-15) when equipped. Needs to be frequently replaced. Crafted on Workbench and is unlocked from the start.
  • Neural Stimulator - Provides a 33% increase to survivor skill rate gain. Crafted on a Soldering bench.
    Requires completing research on both CPU cores and Carbon Nanotubes to unlock and unhide the "Neural Stimulator" research project.
  • Ancient Talisman - Added research and recipes to manufacture this item, which is already in the base game. Provides a substantial boost to happiness for any survivor with one equipped.
    You are required to find an ancient talisman via expedition before the research option is unhidden and the research requires 1 ancient talisman to be completed (it is destroyed by the research).

The game originally only allowed one tool to be equipped and at that time there was a mod to expand it to 2. Now that it is at 2, I personally don't see a need for even more. That would just be OP, imo.

Jaggid I love all your mods, they are very well thought out on wanted things. There is only one thing I was wondering if you could add somehow, tool swapping or maybe able to carry just a couple more, I tend to have people at the start that are multi taskers. Well just a thought!

I cant get rid of Field Glasses, its cant be removed from slot and its can take any slot for example boots.

If you're seeing respirator masks you're not looking at the correct crafting bench. The shields are made at the soldering bench and you're looking at the menu for the workbench, not a soldering bench.

That other respirator mask which you are seeing at the workbench is from another mod, and has nothing to do with the research for the shield. You just didn't notice it before. It's not an identical copy, btw. One uses ore, the other silicon.

Researching personal deflector shields seemingly only added a second copy of the respirator mask to my crafting menu

Hmm, I want a "backpack" where you can store several tools and masks etc to auto swap out when needed , like breather mask to swap out for rainshield etc, I cant see why these humans cant "invent" the backpack, sigh.I guess they are not even past the stonage yet.. 2 tooslots is redicoulous, and with 14 man on my team so far and one new added every year, it takes a week to make everyone swap their tools/clothing and whatnot.. Frustrating and stupid ;P

I've gotten this issue twice where I've crafted and/or equipped the Crafter's Toolbelt, where my game sim freezes entirely and my GPU usage spikes. I can still rotate/pan my camera, but everything else freezes.

I had to forcefully close my game. But the issue seems directly linked to the Crafter's Toolbelt. I haven't tried all of the other tools yet.
