SET-UP

1. Extend "Rear Stabilizers"
2. "Lower Suspension"
3. Toggle "Direct" or "Indirect" fire mode. [user discretion]
4. Set Target Way-Point on Map
5. Paste Target Coordinates into Keypad
6. Use "Gunners Control" Handle
7. With target coordinates inputted, you will be given calculated gun elevation, and traverse in mils.
8. If the target is out of range, this will be indicated by a red light on the left of the display, and calculated gun elevation read as "9999".
9. You must match your guns elevation and traverse to the calculated mils, using the WASD keys.
10. You can adjust the input sensitivity, using the "Toggle Mil Increments" button, to cycle between 1, 10, and 100 mils per tick.
11. The M872 TAS is also equipped with tilt sensors, to indicate how level the gun is to the horizon; because not all surfaces are level. These values are displayed in mils, and will need to be subtracted or added to your calculated elevation and traverse, to compensate, and remain accurate.
12. The M872 TAS does not factor in wind direction, speed, or differences in elevation between the target and gun system. This will need to be determined by a forward observer, and factored in by the user.
13. Load the breech by selecting the toggle button, by the breech mechanism.
14. Once loaded, disable the gun system safety mechanism on the gunners side.
15. Grab the pull-chord from the rope anchor, not the winch.
16. Pull and fire.

TEARDOWN

1. Ensure the Gun System Safety Mechanism is Engaged [switch is off]
2. Ensure Pull-Chord is Attached to Rope Anchor
3. Reset Gun Elevation to 0 mils and Gun Traverse to the approx. Center of the Chassis.
4. Clear the Keyboard
5. Ensure the Breech is Clear [no loaded shells, or spent casings remaining]
6. Raise the Suspension
7. Store the Rear Stabilizers

for the system pitch/roll relative to the horizon, do i just subtract that from the calculation?

Bizeps, pick up the cable from the rope anchor. And while the cable is still attached to the winch, walk backwards.
