Halo CE Footsteps [DRC]

Description
An ingame selectable set of footsteps, utilizing Draconic's new footstep set system. This is a footstep set consisting of Halo: Combat Evolved's footstep sounds from the master chief & the elites.

As chainlink surface types are often encountered in Source engine maps, I opted to also include a downsampled & edited version of the chainlink sounds from Halo 3 so that they don't sound like metallic grates.

"Failed to load sound "vuthakral\halo\characters\spartan_ce\fs\shuffle_wood6.wav", file probably missing from disk/repository"

This is when you walk on wood with either Spartan or Elite footsteps enabled.

@greenodst -- Forgot to reply to this, I pushed a hotfix to the Draconic Base which fixes this issue; look like it was an oddity with how the game handles relaying info between the different server modes (sp/local/dedi)

Okay, so respawning doesn't actually change it back but apply changes does.
greenodst 21 Aug, 2023 @ 9:56pm
Yea i do that and still stays as one of the new ones.

You have to press "apply changes" or respawn.
greenodst 21 Aug, 2023 @ 9:24pm
hitting disable doesn't actually change it back. It stays as the one you picked
Vuthakral  [author] 21 Aug, 2023 @ 5:04pm
Yes you can. There is literally a button that says "None", which disables it.
