[SSI] Heimdall (Scout Corvette)

The Heimdall is an luxury yatch turned corvette, following the various successess of a crew of mercenaries on board. The new model has been fitted with dual railguns and upgraded the point defense systems to two gatling guns, improved the hull and added the capability to use dual jump drives, with excess power plants for redundancy. The luxurious interior has been reinforced but maintaned the lavish windows peering into the black.
Even more so, the ship has been fitted with an additional fighter craft, capable of pursuing targets with incredible acceleration and manoeuvrability and is capable of atmospheric operation on various planets, making it perfect to send an emissary to various celestial bodies on the system.

This ship's role in hit and run tactics and precision strikes has earned it the name "Heimdall", based on the norse god. In the Prose Edda, Heimdall was the watcher of the Gods, protecting the Bifröst and with watchful eye observing the realms. As such, this ship is a symbol of hope in the warring void that surrounds the system, protecting it from pirates like Horizon Ignited and other threats alike.

The fighter is included in the blueprint, it's an unreleased SSI fighter, retrofitted for the aesthetic of this ship, with an exclusive paintjob.
