Awesome ultimate epic insect rice cultivation collection

Description
A simple mod that adds two phenotypes of moth people to the game.

Confirmed compatible with Biotech. Now tested with Royalty or Ideoligion and mostly bug free!!

If you encounter any bugs, please post them in the discussion thread.

Advantages:
  • Unparalleled agricultural skills. With these moths, the rice shall flow
  • Small, quick and nimble
  • Know the profitable secrets of silk and tea production.

Disadvantages:
  • Lower mental break threshold
  • Penalty to social impact
  • Physically feeble
  • Larger pool of traits, but more likely to inherit a negative trait.

The Phalaita are decadent creatures, and they are also nocturnal. For best results, feed them plenty of tea and rice pudding and ensure they’re put to bed by one o’clock.

This mod also adds
  • Two black powder guns - The Erebid Fusil and Erebid Arquebus, two very large and unwieldy weapons. Their high damage, low fire-rate and short accurate range means they are best used in massed volleys in the defence.
  • Tea, a joy-increasing food like chocolate.
  • Silk - a valuable textile with a high beauty factor comparable to hyperweaved.
  • A research tab for tea and silk.
  • A small handful of moth-themed apparel.

A special thanks to the Rimworld development community for helping me build my first mod (This mod) from scratch. A very special thanks to the following people:
Erdelf - For helping me with all my noob HAR problems
Abraxas - Spent hours answering stupid questions
Aelanna - For doing both of the above
Anthitei - For doing the beautiful spritework.

This mod was worked around vanilla body sprites, so face and hair-replacements are recommended. Screenshots used Malang faces and CP's hair mod.

Once a pioneering regional power with unparalleled influence over their little slice of paradise, the Phalaita of the Boseii Unitary Emirates have lost their way. At their prime, they reached a level of decadence that drew the envy of traders, privateers and spacers alike. Only for it to all come crashing down. Centuries of infighting, foreign meddling, economic turmoil and the toll of an exploitative, oligarchic power structure under an extractive economy has rendered this once-noble and respected nation of dynastic black witch moths a sorry imitation of its former glory. All central authority has disintegrated, and the peasants have de-urbanised, leaving behind an ocean of disorganised peasant committees, hamlets and juntas in its wake, giving birth to a new generation of Baga. Uncharismatic, dysfunctional, anomised misfits. But boy, can they sow rice. The modern Phalaita are nomads who excel at tending to plants and animals. Though their strong agrestic traditions have weathered from generations of violence, some of their old ways surrounding silk and tea production have managed to survive. The same cannot be said of their trust, however: a century of genocide, intergenerational trauma and ethnic violence have made them socially dim and uncooperative isolationists. Acquiring their trust will be difficult, but earn their respect and the silk shall flow.

Hello, Orick. That's a weird problem I've experienced for a while. It should be an easy fix, but I haven't been able to find a way to fix it permanently. Very annoying!!!

The only practical issues with this is that the comms console won't work properly. Annoying but hopefully not game-ruining.

Knowing that there are still people out playing with bugs, I'll ask my dev friends and see if I can fix it once and for all.

But until it's fixed just imagine that the bugs installed too many toolbars on their comms console and have been too busy eating pudding and jam to bother fixing it.

Hello, Sylvester. The bugs use vanilla faces so any facial animation mods should work I think. I'm quite confused about these hair issues. It works on my machine!!
