Description
This mod reworks Kairos Fateweaver's skill tree to more play into the lore that he has access to all known spells. Specifically, it changes his unique set of skills that access fragments of the magical winds to gain access to some spells. A new parent skill is unlockable at level 14 that grants access to all 8 base-game fragments at once. Once that skill is learned, there is a new set of 8 skills for 'attuning' to each of the winds. The first level of each will provide Kairos with that lore's passive ability, same as how the 2nd level of the vanilla skill currently functions. The 2nd level of attunement is unlockable at level 30, and grants Kairos a new item, an attuned fragment of that lore, which unlocks the entirety of that lore of magic (with overcasting) for use in battle, in addition to, rather than replacing the lore of Tzeentch. At level 45, 3 additional skills unlock, granting access to spellbook items that enable each of the other lores in the game (but do not provide the lore passive). Only Kairos may equip attuned fragments and spellbooks.

Future Plans, Compatibility and Issues
Known Issues
  • Some items appear to grant spells or abilities twice on Kairos' Stat card. This is purely a cosmetic bug, the passive does not proc twice on spell cast.
  • This mod datacores 'ancillaries_required_skills_tables', and might cause conflicts with any other mods that make use of that table.

I'll look into it, though I feel somewhat justified in leaving it as is too. I suppose something of a trade-off for having the entire lore is no discounts/cdr. I'll mull it over and see what I do when I update it for 5.0.

Tested the mod, and it works, you get 2 lores at the same time, switching between them like Manfred.

However, this mod gives no bonuses to the secondary lores! The base game gives a 50% cooldown and 25% cost reduction, to incentivise use of the secondary lores.

Hi Author, can you just add a generic 25% cost reduction 50% cooldown reduction to all lores of magic? Just replace the Kairos 25% reduction on Tzeench lore skill with a full generic reduction.

Kairos, the first skill Fragments of the Magical Winds, other mods are nothing that should interfere; mixu's LLs, RDLL, brighter borders, Better camera, etc

I can take the skill, but I don't receive any items. Any ideas what could cause this?

Noted. Probably not much I can do for that. I suppose re-setting Kairos's skill points is a fix.

I've tried it in a game as the Changeling. There are some issues, such as on confederation you don't get the existing non-equipped fragments that Kairos has already collected. Anything you unlock *after* confederation works as expected.

Update + spellbooks for all lores incoming at some point today.
You could learn to comment a little more civil than ‘busted needs update’.
