Welcome


Welcome to the Antares Federation of Planets. This is the MBT-08 Challenger Mk I. The AFP's first Main Battle Tank to enter service. Produced in the Federation's ground base workshops and transported to every colony within Federation space. The Challenger has earned the name by taking on unfavorable odds against the Mythian Empire.

The Main turret's elevation hinge and azimuth rotor will start locked so that clang doesn't consume the tank.

Timeline : Theta-42

Date : July 13th, 3212

Federation tanks line the ridge preparing for the coming storm. A blizzard approaches from the West and an Invasion force from the East. The time for a challenge has risen and the AFP's 1st Tank Battalion is eager to strike. Let there be war upon this desolate world. Let the Mythians see what Humanity is capable of performing. Let them know that we will not go gently into the night.

Details. Those are just called details from my experience, but ok. I like to make smooth surface stuff so none of my builds never end up looking like a plate of spaghetti or way too over-engineered. Simple is nice when everything else on the workshop is made to look like a box of scattered lego bricks from 10 different sets.

Alright. Greeble would be any small details put into a surface to break up a flat shape. Think vents, fans, pipes, access panels, ect that would make the build catch the eye better.

Not sure what you mean by "greeble" but the paint is just a standard setup I use for any of my AFP assets, Mollusk. Overall the details I wanted were rather minimalistic in general.

Very nice design! I'd love to see a bit more detail in regards to greeble and paint, but the shape is pretty solid.
