*** I CLAIM NO OWNERSHIP OVER THE ORIGINAL BUILD. RECOVERED FROM ORIGINAL GAME FILES AND REISSUED AS A REVAMPED VERSION OF THE CREATIVE ISLAND GANTRY THAT WAS REMOVED FROM GAME

ENVIRONMENT MOD -> LOCATION: Creative Island Harbor

Revamp of the original gantry over the Harbour on Creative Island.

Features added:
- Crane Head -> additional MagAlls, new electrical connectors, new rope anchors, new laser distance sensor, added turret ring to allow for 360' head pivoting (L/R keys)
- Updated Control Cab -> Repositioned seat; Added new composite blocks for light controls, heater controls, MagAll status, sighting laser distance, cable length, remote controller channel (rear of cab), clock; Equipment added: binocs, night vision, first aid, fire extinguisher, welding torch, radio, flashlight
- Updated Remote Controller system: Control of the crane can be either done from the Cab chair or a remote controller (range of 100m). The system now works by setting toggeable elements as "persistent". Under the old system when you turned off the remote controller all of the toggeable elements would turn off (ex. MagAlls, laser sensor). Now when you set something it stays that way unless you toggle it again using either the Remote Controller or the Cab chair
- Stair Intercom and General Annoucement audio systems
- Crane is now 1 block wider to allow for the turret pivot system. This increased the size of the Cab and the crane head.
- Some new "paint" including hazard lines

CONTROLS:

From Cab Chair...
A/D - Traverse along crane
W/S - Move along Track
L/R - Pivot Head
UP/DOWN - Winch
1 - Connectors Toggle (MagAlls and send general ON/OFF to Electrical Connectors)
2 - Winch Camera
3 - Switch W/S to A/D
4 - Sighting Lasers
5 - AUDIO - Active mic to make general annoucement
6 - AUDIO - Active mic to talk to intercom station at base of stairs

From Remote Controller...
A/D - Traverse along crane
W/S - Move along Track
L/R - Pivot Head
UP/DOWN - Winch
1 - Connectors Toggle (MagAlls and send general ON/OFF to Electrical Connectors)
2 - Winch Camera
3 - Switch W/S to A/D
4 - Sighting Lasers

Hi Fastand Curious. I had considered adding it and mocked it up. The problem is that due to the size of the head, in particular to accommodate various sized containers, it was turning out to be too big. There would be a ton of torque on it causing it to twist and trying to use the crane for other purposes (such as missile and fuel rod activities) made that the head was too big to be used for more precision work. The workaround... MagAll the hell out of it. I tested it with containers and I was able to get a good grip :)

Great. Would be amazing if there was also a mod to fix the gantry at the career starter base, it's super weak to the point of frustration.

Hi The Hunter, as for your questions...
1) Possible just need to find time. I've always wanted to do a revisit of the original SCARAB I did "way back when". I'm interested to see what happens with the upcoming pressurized air update.
2) Considering some other ENV MOD gantries all around including rail, harbor and possibly hangar. Just need to find the time again. :)

The gantry of the before times. Nice work. Also I have a couple questions:
1) Do you have plans for a non-militarized sub
2) Are there plans for anymore stationary builds?
