Leírás
A mod that allows buildings exclusive to certain ideologies to be built anyways

Supported Mods

FAQ
  • Q: What does this do?
  • A: It makes all the buildings that usually require a specific meme to be built anyway

  • Q: Can I still restrict some?
  • A: If you run the vanilla expanded framework, you can toggle the buildings in the settings

  • Q: Why make this?
  • A: I wanted to use the sleep accelerator without the transhumanist meme

  • Q: Is this safe to add and remove?
  • A: It should be, standard disclaimers apply, back up your stuff

  • Q: But what if I want this stuff without the DLC?
  • A: It is not possible, as it would be against the EULA

  • Q: Why isn't blank mod supported?
  • A: I only added support for mods I already had downloaded. If you want a certain mod to be added, let me know, preferably with a link and the name of the building

If you find a bug related to this mod, please let me know with the error it caused

This is much better than clicking 'Transhumanist' on my existing ideology and consequently having to reset hundreds of hair and tattoo choices as well as every single edited precept. There's another mod, Persistent Precepts, but it's borked for the hair and tattoo choices, so this mod's my next gamble.

Ah Thank you very much @silentsquids111.

@Tirith Amar Yes that is what I did. The blindfold and torture crown should be craftable now with any ideology. If you are playing with the vanilla expanded framework you will have to enable the option to do so in the toggleable patches settings for that mod. I made all craftable items unrestricted because it was easier to implement than only targets specific items, and some people might want modded options to be included

I dont mean modded items, some ideology dlc ideologies add items. Blindsight gives you blindfolds.

@Tirith Amar Yep. The way I implemented it should hopefully also work with modded items

Any chance you could add all the apparel?
Like the blindfolds, torture crown.

Okay, I did some digging and was able to get mindbend carpets to work. No special case, but they are the only item that requires the meme to be edited instead of the item itself

@· 無名 · You may have a conflict with another mod, as on my machine the disabling works. If you feel comfortable with xml you can directly modify the contents of the mod to hide certain features. I do not know how to enable the mindbend carpets, as everything I have tried through xml does not work for them, I suspect there is a special case for them in the code.

As someone else pointed out, Mindbend carpets are still absent from the build menu. Furthermore, I was unable to hide items from the build menu using the settings inside Vanilla Expanded Framework. Even after a restart, it appears that nothing I selected to be hidden was hidden.

you could achieve the same thing with tweaks galore and cherry picker
