The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt is a World War II-era fighter aircraft produced by the American company Republic Aviation from 1941 through 1945. It was a successful high-altitude fighter, and it also served as the foremost American fighter-bomber in the ground-attack role.

How to start and take off:

on ground:

1. enable the breaker to the left side of the cockpit
   
2. enable the engine master switch
   
3. Increase Prop-Feathering to 1
   
4. Throttle up to 1 to start the engine
   
5. just hold down "S" to take off, it will do the rest automatically
   
6. after takeoff close canopy
   
7. retract landing gear

IMPORTANT NOTES

• The aircrafts fuselage cant withstand too many hits, but in some cases it can survive quite some damage
  
• it can act sluggish, be carefull when diving and pull up before its too late
  
• its a high altitude fighter and can overheat in hot environments and works best when at high speeds and high altitudes
