描述
This mod increases the vision range for the AI. Unlike the player the AI does not have any bonuses to vision range, this mod offers some vision advantage to the AI especially on higher difficulties. If you want parity on this check out my AI Anty-Cheat mod

@Pet Mudstone An AI with greater vision can better detect other factions to establish diplomatic relations. Some say it does not have fog of war, but if this were the case, you could see factions launching diplomatic treaties to others across the map, and this only occurs when I give an AI vision of the entire map. Thus, the greater its vision, the easier it will be for the AI to detect other factions.

Could you explain what benefits come from giving AI increased vision?

@Saphirre Pretty sure, I tried high values and the factions on the other side of the world sent me diplomatic treaties, which didn't happen without changing these values. Maybe create another mod with even higher values so that it can be appreciated more.

I think the AI have already no fog of war.

Are you sure this mod change anything?

@Draco100000 If the AI had vision over the entire map, you would also see the entire map when you were allied with one of them, so... no, she doesn't have vision over the entire map. This mod only adds a bit more range to her vision, but it will help her spot other factions more easily. Specifically, this mod increases the view distance by 100 units, the more this value is increased, the more proportion of the map she will be able to see and act accordingly. For example, if this value were increased to 100,000, diplomatic offers would arrive from factions far apart. Although I don't recommend increasing this value that much because it causes stuttering and stability issues. (but if to test) With that value, if you ally with any faction of the AI, you would also see as far as she can see.

Does AI have vision over the entire map? Wouldd this mean AI will in fact see neighbouring factions and make decisions taking into account their neighbours?
